If you want excellence for your novel, thesis, presentation, or dissertation, wouldn’t you want your editor to have those three things along with experience and skill? I love “story” from fiction to anything as prosaic as a security assessment, or a sociological paper on ambivalence. I care deeply that the information is clear and accessible to your reader or audience.
I do line, or copy editing, and substantive editing. I can help with early stages of a dissertation, by doing the transcriptions for qualitative interviews, and bring Power Point presentations into clarity through formatting of its visual presentation. For clients un-used to computers or submission requirements of publishers, I can help prepare manuscripts for consideration.
I have been fortunate in having interesting work, and returning clients. I am willing to negotiate terms, using my current fee structure as my baseline.
